Flooding in New Caney, TX

In this first picture we had taken out the carpet in the family room in order to get to the carpet pad. The carpet pad is very high end but it held a lot of the water. Once it was removed we were able to start drying the home and cement.

Cement takes a while to dry as it can hold a lot of water and is usually holding around 20% at all times.

After the pad was removed we were able to dry out the cement by floating the carpet. This way we were able to dry the carpet and cement at once.
