Flooded Stair Way in Residential The Woodlands Home

The attic’s hot water heater experienced a leak which caused the stairwell and multiple rooms in the house to experience extreme water damage. To ensure all affected areas of the house were dry, our highly trained technicians placed specialized drying equipment, such as a dehumidifiers and air movers throughout the house for multiple days and hours. SERVPRO began the remediation process by removing the delaminating carpet and padding. Additionally, baseboards, ceiling and flood cuts were removed on the exterior walls of the home. In the end, the technicians replaced the containment in preparation for the reconstruction phase of the house.
